Windows Marketplace has a new look.

It's the place to go when you're looking for software and hardware for Windows - games, downloads for your mobile, security, design and graphics, music and video.

There's plenty of free software to download, including games, of course.

The Digital Locker is a new addition and it allows you to find, purchase, download and store software titles from numerous retailers.

At the moment there's 20% off the top 20 games downloads.

Got to be with it but webDotWiz won't do any raves or reviews except to say that the XBox would be a great platform on which to do some train driving - the next MS Trainsimulator perhaps? Anyway webDotTrainSim (webDotWiz's alter ego) has just finished some more preparatory work on getting some activities ready for Wupper Express 9 (and WE 10 next year).

In an unprecedented move, all Xbox 360 games have been given the following edict: Support widescreen formatting and 720 progressive scan. These aren't suggestions, they're requirements, and the benefit to HDTV owners is significant.

I just played a couple shooters on a XBOX 360 game console and that's it, I'm sold. The graphics are GREAT. The visuals make the gameplay amazing, and it's clear the processing and video power is extreme. Add to that the Media Center connections and, well... Wow.
